Haopeng Shen was born in 1986. He was into work in August 2008 and joined C.C.P. in December 2011. He received his Ph.D. degree in Economics from the University of California, Davis in June 2021. He got his BA in management from Renmin University of China (2008), and a BA in Economics from Peking University (2013), and a MA in Economics from Vanderbilt University (2016). He worked at the Human Resources Department of North China Air Traffic Bureau from August 2008 to April 2014.
His research interests lie mainly in Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics. Specifically, he is interested in investigating monetary policy under information frictions, responses of the term structure of interest rates to monetary policy, and heterogeneous effects of monetary policy.
